Dear readers,
Most of you are familiar with Uber and have a general understanding of their operations. However, I want to provide a comprehensive series of post that explain the business model and demonstrates the company’s profitability in detail.
I was genuinely surprised when I examined their financials closely and discovered just how profitable the company has become.
I had long held the mistaken belief that their aggressive marketing strategies would prove unprofitable. I was completely wrong.
The company currently trades at an attractive valuation amid concerns about the threat posed by autonomous vehicles (AVs). Understanding the current situation and the implications of AV expansion is therefore critical to evaluating the investment opportunity.
Spoiler: I invested in Uber in late November, and it now represents 3.4% of my portfolio.
While many of you may already be familiar with the company, I’ve dedicated considerable time to understanding it deeply, and I believe this comprehensive analysis is worth sharing.
